Nicely designed and well built. Definitely worth the price.
Got it today. It tilts and pans smoothly and very easy to assemble. Using it with a 100-400mm and 5dmkiv. Two things : the GH does not sit perfectly on the tripod, it wobbles and when I tried to remove it from the tripod to check and fix, the base of the GH and the tripod are stuck. I can't remove it , I don't wan't to adjust the pan knob too much for leverage for I don't want to force new gear. Beware
Thes is a good gimbal for wildlife photography. I used it my last few trips and it performs well. Good value for the money
Love the MOVO Gimbal it is easy to use and love both of the knobs being on the same side, now I do not accidentally unscrew the camera plate, which I did with the last Gimbal I had. I caught the camera and lens before they hit the ground. The MOVO is so easy to use and maneuver. Also it is light and does not add much weight to a already heavy set up. I wish I had gotten it the first time, but have it now. Thank you so much it is awesome.
Very happy with purchase. The gimbal head is top notch, solid, stable and perfect for birding. I also had a chance to interact with customer service and more than pleased with their responses. Overall a highly satisfied customer. I'll recommend this product for sure.
Arca type plate is very loose when used on other Arca compatible tripod heads, Fits perfectly and works on the the Movo GH700 Gimbal. Other than that it works great.
This is my first gimbal head. For the price I paid, I was concerned about its quality. I was wrong. It is well build and works as described on Movo's web site. I never realized how easy and successful bird photography with a 600mm lens could be, until I tired the Movo GH700 Professional Gimbal Tripod Head. The price is the best price for the product of this type. I am very satisfied and happy with my purchase.
Having recently purchased a "big" (150-600 mm zoom) I realized that my small ball tripod head wasn't going to cut it. I researched a lot of options. Many of the less expensive gimbal heads seemed to have issues with sticky lubricant and less than free swings. But not this one! It easily passes Steve Perry's "one finger" test and it only took a few minutes to perfectly balance my big lens. So far I've only used it on backyard birds but it makes sharp pictures so much easier than trying to hand hold. Looking forward to a July trip to the Gulf Coast where I can try it out on the gulls, pelicans, etc. A really good product and pretty much a steal at the price!
Solid, easy to use, affordable price. Couldn't ask for more.
Took it out day I received it, worked like charm with my Canon 400mm and 7D Mark ii ! Saved a minimum $300 and love it. Didn’t have to rework gimbal take it apart to get it to work. I did shoot a little WD 40 , very little in tilt knob for kicks. Thanks Movo.
