PodPro-TH
A complete two-person podcasting kit built for creators on the move. The battery-powered MDX-2 interface connects to any PC, Mac, or mobile device (USB-A, USB-C, and Lightning included), while a pair of CastMic XLR mics deliver studio-quality sound with natural background-noise rejection. Comes with boom arms or tabletop stands, XLR cables, and a travel case — plus optional studio headphones — ready for podcasts, streaming, music, or interviews.
QUALITY
Dual cardioid CastMic dynamics capture every nuance with a full 40 Hz–16 kHz range and reject room noise, so your voice sits clean and present. Built to last with all-metal construction — whether you're recording in a closet, a living room, or a studio.
PORTABLE
The battery-powered MDX-2 interface runs up to three hours off a single charge and speaks USB-A, USB-C, and Lightning out of the box — so the same kit works on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac without swapping cables. Everything snaps into the included hard travel case, ready to set up anywhere.
SIMPLE
Plug in, hit record. There's nothing to install — the MDX-2 is class-compliant across macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android, and shows up instantly in GarageBand, Logic, Ableton, Audacity, OBS, Zoom, and any other app you already use. Simple controls mean setup takes seconds, not tutorials.
At minimum, you need a microphone, a way to record on a phone or computer, and ideally headphones to monitor your audio. The PodPro kit includes two XLR microphones and the MDX-2 audio interface with cables for computers and phones. Headphones are included only in the headphone configurations.
Yes. A bundle saves you from matching microphones, cables and an interface yourself, because the parts are chosen to work together. You still get better results by placing each mic close to the speaker and checking levels before you record.
PodPro connects its two XLR microphones through the included MDX-2 audio interface. The kit includes Lightning and USB-C connection cables. Check that your phone and recording app support the interface and external audio input before recording.
Dynamic and condenser microphones can both be used for podcasting. The right choice depends on your recording space and setup. PodPro includes two CastMic dynamic XLR microphones with cardioid pickup patterns that are most sensitive to sound in front of each microphone.
PodPro includes an MDX-2 audio interface and USB-A, USB-C and Lightning connection cables for compatible computers and phones. Compatibility depends on your device and recording app. Check support for the interface and external audio input before recording.
A portable setup can be useful if you record in more than one location. PodPro combines two microphones with the battery-powered MDX-2 interface for recording at home or on the go.
It depends on the format. Solo podcasts usually need one microphone, while interviews or co-hosted shows typically require two. Many podcast bundles include multiple microphones to support different recording styles.
For PodPro, an audio interface is included. Connect the two CastMic XLR microphones to the MDX-2 interface, then connect the interface to a compatible computer or phone.
Clear vocals, low background noise and consistent volume help a podcast sound polished. Record in a quiet room, position each microphone close to the speaker and check recording levels to avoid distortion.
PodPro is built for two-person recording with a compatible computer or phone. It pairs two CastMic XLR microphones with the battery-powered MDX-2 interface and includes USB-A, USB-C and Lightning cables. Choose tabletop stands or boom arms, with or without headphones, to match your setup.
This kit is so easy-to-use and the sound quality is great. Filtered Bestfriends podcast is now live on all streaming platforms and everyone is asking what equipment did we use because the sound quality is top notch!
Volume has to be all up to be able to hear yourself in the headset,
I LOVE this setup
