I finally have some time to do some experimental photography and thought this would be a fun start. And it is. It works very well and believe it or not I am using this on my old Canon T2i's with a Sigma wide angle lens. Pretty cool I must say.
I have two Movo products! The reverse Auto-Focus Macro Lens Adapter works just as I would expect (that is a big positive). and a gimbal head. Both work exceptionally well.
Well, I tried this item and could not get focus unless I physically worked at it by moving the camera and lens closer or further to or from the subject. I thought the electronic function of this item would would get me a focus beep, but Im not to clear on how I feel about this product It works but you really have to work on getting a good image.
This is a very well made piece of equipment which provides a quick and easy way to extend the usefulness of your non-macro lenses by allowing them to be mounted in reverse without losing the communication between the camera body and the lens. I found it to be easy to use and the results were great. Unfortunately there is no 62 mm adapter ring so I was only able to use this kit on one of my lenses. Aside from that it worked flawlessly and I would certainly recommend it to anyone interested in trying macro photography. By the way you definitely need to use a tripod!
